On Saturday 5 October 2024, the Parish held a special ceremony for the blessing of Pets at the Shrine. In honour of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals, parishioners were invited to bring their cherished pets to get a blessing from Fr. Wilson and Fr. Oscar at this first-ever special event. It was joyous occasion for owners and their beloved furry and feathered friends. It reminded everyone of the joy that comes with sharing our lives with these beloved animals, and the companionship they provide. The pets were later presented with a certificate of blessings.
