It is the most important liturgical event of the day and marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Vigil mass concludes the Triduum. Tonight we light the new Paschal candle from the holy Fire. We renew our baptismal promises, we welcome new brothers and sisters. The Gloria is sung with every bell rung all throughout the singing of the hymn. Tonight we await the resurrection of Jesus.
